December 9, 2008David was commissioned by Chrysalis Arts of Gargrave to carve the words of poet David Morley whose work was featured in the Slow Art Trail at Strid Wood on the Bolton Abbey Estate in September and October.
This is one of forty posts which were erected alongside the pathway by the hide in Strid Wood.
Entwine Table
December 9, 2008David carved the work of calligrapher Richard Crookes into the top of this console table. Inlaid cherry represents the ‘twig’ and Stephanie’s stitched hemp cord represents the ‘twine’.
This collaboration was exhibited at the Creative Networks event at Leeds College of Art and Design.
